Our Sunday meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month (except January) and are ideal for those just starting out in the process and want to understand what they need to do.
Sunday meetings have two components – our Advice and Information session is a public forum that runs for about 45 – 60 minutes and is aimed at those couples just starting out in the process of getting a visa. This is where you will be briefed on the range of issues that you need to address to obtain that visa, and have the opportunity to discuss various points and to ask questions. Following the meeting, for those who are GLITF members, our Migration Advisors are available for one-to-one, private consultation.
Our Monday meetings at 7.00 pm are held on the third Monday of each month and are for GLITF members only (you can join at the door) who wish to consult a Migration Advisor on a one-to-one basis. There is no Advice and Information session.
The Monday meetings are best suited to couples who already know the ropes, but have specific, personal issues they need to deal with, or who want an expert to check over their “progress to date.”
There may also be limited opportunities to obtain certification of documents as true copies and/or to make statutory declarations.
